So far, we have done storyboarding, for this we had to put together a short sequence of shots to tell a short story. In this sequence we used shots such as: Establishing, Close Up, Mid Shot, Over The Shoulder and Reverse Shot. Whilst filming this we had to be aware of the Conventions of Continuity editing this involve things such as the 180 degree rule which is and unwritten rule that's mean we are not permitted to move the camera over a certain point, this is a good camera shot when filming a horror or thriller but for out scene it is not very appropriate. We have to be aware of these conventions of continuity editing because our aim in our short movie is to it simple for the audience to follow and to make the short movie come across the way in which we intended.
As a while class we make two separate story boards which were presented on the board this was to help the group think about camera shots we did this before we filmed. after this we broke off into smaller groups where we discussed the camera shot further and thought of good ways to get a story across in the way we intended. To follow after we had thought this through we decided to make a short film sequence on a fighting scene. We edited the sequence and discovered what was to a high enough standard to be enter for our final project.
whilst doing our storyboard project set by the board we discover we had made few mistakes these included having a jump shot in our first tape and then we underwent a problem with our equipment, Eg: 'old tape syndrome'
In our short film we tried to included all manner of shots these included
. Over the shoulder
. Reverse over the shoulder
. Long shot
. Close up
. Mid shot
We tried to used these to the most appropriate use which in the groups opinion was to  a good standard.
